Villa Méditerranée is a spectacular new villa located in the gated Orient Bay Village, within walking distance of St. Martin's most famous Orient Beach. The Villa is perched on a hilltop with a stunning view of the islands of St Barth, Tintamarre and Pinel, and a bird’s eye view of Le Village de la Baie Orientale, an oasis of white sand beaches and colorful Caribbean homes.
This elegant and luxurious villa has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with four and a half baths, and can accommodate up to 9 persons (4 king sized beds and one twin bed, privacy for everyone!) The spacious living and dining rooms are also climate controlled and are exquisitely furnished in imported Teak and Mahogany. The entertainment unit includes a satellite TV, a DVD player and a CD player. The immaculate kitchen has a breakfast bar with fabulous marble countertop and is fully equipped with modern deluxe stainless steel appliances. Large sliding glass doors open into an outdoor patio and an outdoor veranda that lead into a large private swimming pool and an oversized Jacuzzi, a deck made of with imported Italian Terracotta tiles, teak loungers and colorful cushions for sun lovers. Tennis courts, horse-back riding, surfing, sailing, snorkeling, jet-skiing, first class French restaurants, pizzeria and patisserie are all within walking distance. Villa Méditerranée is just 5 minutes from the village of Grand Case, the dining capital of the Caribbean, and only 10 minutes to the French Capital of Marigot, with its chic boutiques and bistros.
Villa Méditerranée was designed by a team of American, French and German architects and builders, and the interior design was furnished by a French decorator. The villa’s two-level space, rooms, patios, veranda, outside decks, Jacuzzi and private pool join together in a flowing space and are bordered by a luxuriant garden, which was designed by Caribbean Gardens, one of the best known landscapers of the island. Villa Méditerranée is in the middle of everything St. Martins' Orient Beach has to offer, yet it is gated and secluded, giving our guests complete privacy. A maid is available daily for the comfort of our guests.

Creole baths allow one to take a shower while having a hilltop view of St Martin and/or an open view of the private garden. You will find hair dryers in every bathroom. You also have air conditioning and a ceiling fan in every bedroom for maximum comfort. A welcome basket with cheese and wine, fruit and delicatessen will be greeting our guests upon arrival at the villa.

The Garden
The garden is privately gated and surrounds the entire villa. It was designed by Gilles Cauvi, the owner of Caribbean Garden, one of St. Martin’s best landscapers. Traveler Palm trees, Ficus trees, Lantana lavender, Phoenix Roebelini, Solandra, Flamboyant trees, and flowering bougainvilleas transform the garden into a Caribbean oasis of smell and color. Every door of the Villa Mediterranee open onto the garden and every window allows our guests to view the garden's beauty.
The Swimming Pool
Villa Méditerranée has a large private pool lined with blue Diamond Brite, and in-pool lighting. The pool features a custom rock wall and a soothing waterfall. The pool area includes a large deck covered with imported Italian Terracotta tiles, and surrounded by Ficus bushes, and Traveler palm trees. The pool deck and the courtyard are gated and provide plenty of privacy for liberal sun bathing. Large teak chaise lounges imported from South-East Asia, and covered with colorful cushions allow the guests to sun bathe and soak in the pool.

A cordless direct dial telephone in the living room allows Villa Méditerranée's guests to stay in touch with any country in the world. Villa Méditerranée has Wifi computer internet available at no charge at the villa, along with cable TV service that gives access to many U.S. and French television network programming. The entertainment unit of the salon includes a wide screen flat TV, a DVD and CD player with surround Bose speaker, inside/outside. DVD shows movies available at nearby stores

Villa Méditerranée's maid is available every day for cleaning and laundry. She lives on the island and can answer most questions about St. Martin.

Jet skiing, parasailing and windsurfing, snorkeling, water skiing, deep sea fishing, horse back riding, day trips to other Caribbean islands are all within walking distance from Villa Méditerranée. St. Martin's economy has been a duty-free port for over fifty years and thousands of cruise ship passengers descend on St. Martin each year specifically for the great deals to be had here. Duty-free St. Martin shopping can save the buyer up to 50% regular North American prices, especially on luxury goods such as crystal, leather, jewelry, perfumes, and liquor. The best places to find a cluster of St. Martin shopping outlets are in Margot on the French side, which is about 10-15 minute drive from Villa Méditerranée, and Philipsburg on the Dutch, which is about 20-25 minutes drive. The rue de la Liberte' and rue de la Republique in Marigot top French St. Martin shopping destinations, where a charming jumble of architecture houses the city's chic shops and duty-free boutiques.
